South Tishomingo County Food Pantry

Recognizing the God has blessed us so that we can bless others, The Belmont U.M.C. Community Food Pantry was established to meet the needs of those in our community by providing, food, clothing, and other related services. It is our intention that all who are served are shown love, respect, kindness, and grace.

Distribute food boxes to those who qualify in Tishomingo County. We fill out applications for food, process files, and verify eligibility. Order and transport food. Unload food deliveries. Pack food boxes on Tuesday and Thursday of the week of our Food Giveaway on the fourth Saturday of the month. Load food boxes into our client's vehicles on the day of our Giveaway.

We also have a Clothes Giveaway when we have our Food Giveaway on the fourth Saturday of the month. Clothing , household items, furniture, and other miscellaneous items are moved, unpacked, sorted, and displayed on the Friday before our Giveaway. All of the items that we give away are donated by church members and others in our community. Items requested the most are beds, mattresses, and bedding.

We are so thankful for all who volunteer and for all of the donations that we receive.
