We are looking for an energetic, positive individuals to volunteer as an after school tutor.

Join us for the 2024 school year as we teach students of all ages to read and comprehend to their potential.  

No prior teaching experience is needed. All necessary technical equipment and program materials will be provided. Volunteer credits are available. 

Tutor Expectations:

Have a passion for helping others reach their potential. Implement positive reinforcement strategies that maximize learning, in a cheerful and authentic manner. Possess basic computer skills and the ability to type notes about the student performance while engaging in sessions.

Tutor Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group instructions. Facilitate the use of curriculum provided for Little Legends Academy. Interact positively and professionally with clients and staff to provide a safe and positive learning environment.

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as After-School Enrichment Assistants. As an After-School Enrichment Assistant, you will have the opportunity to support and inspire young learners in a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with supervising and engaging children during after-school hours between 2 pm and 7 pm.

Story time is a treasured part of our day at Little Legends Academy. It's a time when our children get to explore the magical world of books and stories, fostering their imagination, creativity, and language skills.

Volunteers for this role will have the opportunity to read stories to our preschool students and engage them in active discussions about the books.

In addition, we also need assistance during preschool dismissal to ensure a smooth and safe transition for our students as they depart from school. Volunteers for this role will help supervise the students, assist them with gathering their belongings, and safely escort them to their transportation home.

We are seeking a volunteer Youth Pastor to work with our little legends.

As a Youth Pastor Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and guide youth while helping them build a strong foundation of faith. You will work alongside a team of volunteers to plan and implement youth activities, develop relationships with youth, and provide support and guidance as needed.

Graceful Roots Grandbuddy Program is seeking volunteers who are 55 years of age or older to support children in Lee County community. As a Grandbuddy Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to bond with children and make a difference in their lives by assisting them with reading, tutoring, mentoring, and attending extracurricular activities and events.

Being a grandbuddy is not a job. Therefore, you don't have to worry about being lured out of retirement, since the program is geared towards seniors who are mostly retired or disabled and Children that will benefit the most by bonding with their gb. We strive to make it feasible for grandbuddies to remain active in their communities without having to deal with out-of-pocket expenses.

As an Administrative Support Assistant, you would be asked to and assisted with office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone and email, and generally being a helpful and positive person in the workspace.
