The Tishomingo County Tourism Council was organized in 1993 under the umbrella of the Tishomingo County Development Foundation. The Board of Directors of the tourism council consists of a fifteen member board, three from each supervisor’s district. We serve on the Board of Director’s of the Mississippi Hills National Heritage Area Alliance and the Natchez Trace Compact. We are also a member of the Mississippi Tourism Association and the Tenn-Tom Tourism Association. We feel that we are located in one of the most beautiful parts of Mississippi, boastful of true southern hospitality, and indeed “One of the Best Kept Secrets of the South.”
