Who We Are
Keep Tupelo Beautiful works to inspire and educate residents to improve the community by preventing litter, promoting recycling and beautification. We encourage all citizens to be responsible for improving the city’s scenic beauty and quality of life. KTB has been serving the residents of Tupelo in excess of thirty-five years. It bridges the gap between public and private initiatives. Where municipal involvement is limited to public property, Keep Tupelo Beautiful can enlist citizen volunteers to improve public right-of-ways and private property that serves to enhance and elevate the overall appearance of the city, create safer environments, and positively impact economic development without using tax dollars.
What We Do
Keep Tupelo Beautiful works on numerous projects and initiatives throughout the year including: 10 for Tupelo (event that is held each spring that enlists residents to volunteer their time in the form of litter cleanups and beautification projects for a portion of 10 hours of straight service bettering Tupelo); Painting murals on the Front Street & Veterans Park Storm Shelters; Tire Recycling Events with Cooper Tire; Park Hill Community Garden with Real Men Stand Up; Business of the Month Beautification Award Program; Community Litter Cleanups; Music Bend Nature Trail Planting Day and Cleanup Collaboration; and assistance to numerous community organizations on projects.
