

Who We Are
The Alcorn Ministry for Emergency Needs is a community food pantry serving the residents of the Alcorn County Area. We first organized in an effort to pool the resources of a number of area churches/organizations to meet this goal. Today, we draw our support from area churches, individual contributions, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, as well as local businesses. Our stores are drawn from local food drives, individual donations, the Mid-South Food Bank, and the Mississippi Food Network. The balance is purchased from local retailers. All monetary contributions are earmarked for food rent, insurance, and utilities; everyone is an unpaid volunteer. Currently, we serve, on average, 350 families each month.
What We Do
Food Pantry. Looking for assistance in processing clients, carrying groceries to client vehicles, and unloading deliveries and donations. Very little training is required and it is completed on the job. Anyone interested should call 662-643-5864 or come by the our Pantry at 104 W. Linden Street, Corinth, on any Monday, Wednesday, or Friday from 10 a.m. until noon.
