Come out and learn about ways you can give back to your community through volunteerism! Representatives from nonprofits throughout Northeast Mississippi will be on hand to tell you about the services they offer and how you can help them carry out their missions by being a volunteer.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone who has a little bit of time or a lot will find excellent volunteer opportunities. Most volunteer opportunities require no special talents or skills, so finding something that suits you will be easy!
Tupelo High School seniors looking for senior project possibilities will definitely want to attend. You can come to the fair after school and still have time to get to the college fair on the THS campus.
College students who are interested in doing an internship at a nonprofit are also encouraged to attend.
There will also be door prizes, a celebrity dunking booth, photo ops with Mrs. Mississippi, a children's corner, discounts at downtown restaurants for dining out after the fair, and free flu shots for uninsured adults.
WHAT IS THE COST?
The fair is FREE to everyone, including the nonprofits who set up booths.
