The Salvation Army - Angel Tree Gift Distribution Day!

The Salvation Army is inviting volunteers to join us for one of the BEST days of the year - the day we distribute all of the Angel Tree gifts that have been so generously donated by our Northeast Mississippi community!

Families connected with us in September-December to show their financial need and share their little Angel's Christmas needs and Christmas wishes along with clothing and shoe sizes.

Volunteers have worked hard for weeks to make sure there is a bag for each child for Christmas morning!

On December 20 from 8:00-1pm families will arrive by appointment to our drive-through distribution experience at the Tupelo Furniture Market, building 5. 

Volunteers are needed to:

 - sort bags so they are ready as each family arrives at their appointed time 

 - organize & call out family numbers to volunteers as the families arrive

 - locate the family's bags on the grid by their family number

 - set the family's  Angel Tree bags into a grocery cart

 - wheel the cart out to the family as they wait in their vehicle in the car line

 - load bags into the vehicle and wish them a Merry Christmas

 - help to organize surplus toys and clothing items

 - help to pack up surplus toys and clothing items to return to The Salvation Army for families with last minute needs
